The initial shock as our daughter is diagnosed with breast cancer

You never think it will happen to you.  Actually, it did not happen to me but to our middle daughter.  She just turned 40 in December and had gotten a routine mammogram.  When the results indicated she needed a needle biopsy, we were still thinking it was going to be OK.  No one went with her...she could do this and go on with her life.  And her life is a busy one as a wife, mother and nurse.  So when she called me a few days later crying with the news that it was cancer, we were all stunned.  We still are after a month.  This is our story as we travel the unknown path toward what we hope and pray will be a victory.
